Dr. Paul Zavala-Rivera

Dr. Paul Zavala-Rivera received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Sonora (Mexico)and a Masters in Bionanotechnology from the University of Sheffield (UK) in 2008 and 2010, respectively. In 2014 he received his Ph.D. in Physics at Cambridge University (UK). Currently he is a Professor of Biomedical and Material Engineering at the Universidad de Sonora (Mexico) and a member of the Research National System Level 1 (SNI 1) at the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT-Mexico). His team is working on the development of bio-nanomaterials and its industrial scale-up fabrication.
